About Me
There are always alternative ways to approach the unpredictability of when life decides to change.
With extensive experience in crisis intervention, I have been able to assist my community through life’s difficulties and transitions. But coping with loss or learning how to process trauma can only really begin by creating trust and building a relationship. I strive to do
that alongside finding the space for levity because figuring life out is hard enough.
Since earning my MSW in 2015, I’ve done in depth work with survivors of domestic
violence, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals facing challenges
related to women’s issues.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices like Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Crisis Intervention. I also recognize and
incorporate the mind body connection and how fitness and nutrition play a crucial
role in one’s mental health.
As we all look to obtain the seemingly fragile idea of balance and stability, my practice intends to prepare you for the realities of here and now and whatever comes next.
